A consultation from the local authority is a stack of paper and a fifteen-day clock. Clearrpath reads the plan, sets what it says against what your school can offer, and hands you the comparison — organised, sourced, and yours to overrule.
What the AI is not allowed to do
- No score, no percentage, no ranking of children — ever.
- Nothing is rejected or closed automatically.

From £75 a month, billed as £900 a year
That is the minimum, and it covers every school with up to 45 pupils on an EHC plan. Above that it is £1.67 per plan a month — £20 a year — on one annual invoice, so it is a single purchase order rather than twelve. No charge per teacher, no setup fee, no module you have to add later to get the bit you needed.

Invite as many staff as you need. Reviews depend on teachers contributing, so charging per seat would only discourage the thing that makes it work.
Your data, yours to take
Export every review, comment and summary at any time. If you leave, you leave with the paperwork — nothing is held hostage.
Billed once a year
Annually in advance, on a purchase order if that suits your finance office. Ten per cent off a three-year agreement.

Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Regulations 2014
Every statutory timescale is tracked for you: annual reviews at least every 12 months, more frequent reviews for under fives, papers circulated two weeks before the meeting, the report to the local authority within two weeks after, the four week decision window, and phase transfer deadlines of 15 February and 31 March. Overdue reviews are flagged before they slip.
SEND Code of Practice 2015
Reviews follow chapter 9 of the statutory Code: the child's views and aspirations, parent and carer contributions, attendees and their advice, progress against each EHC outcome, and preparation for adulthood from Year 9 onwards.
UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018
Your school remains the data controller at all times. Each school's data is isolated at the database level, key actions are recorded in an audit trail, records follow the statutory retention schedule to age 25, and the right to erasure removes everything, files included. Written for the UK GDPR as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
Safe AI, on the record
The AI never trains on pupil data. Every draft is grounded in the child's own EHCP with the evidence shown line by line, a member of staff reviews and approves every word, and each AI step is logged. No decision about a child is ever made by a machine alone.
